I make my own blend of argan, avocado, rosehip, and sea buckthorn oil. No commercial blend I’ve tried is as effective for my skin.

Be careful with avocado oil if you are prone to breakouts. This honestly isnt one that I would recommend, personally. I broke out all over my face & scalp literally every time I attempted to use it. I’m not even prone to break outs.

  12. @antoinettejoubert on March 6, 2025 at 3:31 pm

Thank you for these budget friendly advice

  13. @njr1222 on March 6, 2025 at 3:35 pm

I agree wholeheartedly with your selection although I’d add jojoba to the list for the simple reason that as a wax it mimics the skin’s natural sebum closer than other oils do. What I’ve also learnt is olive oil can be problematic for eczema/dermatitis afflicted skin. Cheers.

Well, you mentioned it here, but I’ve wondered about using HA amid the other products being used. Is it a matter of how much moisture you need or just use when you’re derma rolling, etc? Is it beneficial alone, including other parts of your body? And what the heck is The ultimate for removing dark spots-esp on backs of hands and arms?? Thx for your vast knowledge, Chris!

61 years old & wholeheartedly agree with all these in addition to carrot seed oil & mango butter. Frankincense & Myrrh are worth investigating although a little pricey.

  39. @TerriCurtis-s9t on March 6, 2025 at 4:07 pm

When I was in early 20 s my calves would itch couple times a week and I would use a hairbrush to scratch. My legs would burn from scratching. It was so bad. I needed relief and thought of olive oil in kitchen. It soothed the itch and I never itched like that again.

  40. @oliviermidy1611 on March 6, 2025 at 4:07 pm

I also recommend the new face oil from Olivier Midy, this oil smells awesome for men and works great for multiple skincare concerns and is 100% plant based.

  41. @ClubNoiseband on March 6, 2025 at 4:10 pm
