  6. @shelleywallis4569 on March 6, 2025 at 3:26 pm

Loving your videos but a bit confused about the Avene eye cream containing hylaronic acid. I thought you shouldn’t use with a retinoids ??

    Avene over Paula’s choice?

  9. @erinyost4595 on March 6, 2025 at 3:29 pm

Hi! I am an esthetician. I want to be able to explain accurately to my clients about how certain ingredients work. With THD VIT C, is this more gentle for sensitive skin? Also, since this converts to L-ascorbic acid, does this mean this is most potent form of C?

  10. @lauraguevara1320 on March 6, 2025 at 3:31 pm

You never mentioned sunscreen, are we supposed to apply every 3-4 hrs or no need to use it?

  11. @blessedbythebest1003 on March 6, 2025 at 3:32 pm

So you say the first one is “strong” does that mean someone could breakout?
Also switching back and forth could it create reaction?
Also do ages on any of these matter? (I’m 35)

  12. @PamCaruso-u6f on March 6, 2025 at 3:33 pm

The Avene is out of stock. I went to your link and the Avene is $52 and nothing about 30% off or free shipping. Now l went there again and it says it is discontinued. I am 70 years old. Will these eye creams benefit me. The versed one says 35 to 64 l believe. My eyes underneath aren’t puffy. They are more hallowed.

  13. @billiejones9731 on March 6, 2025 at 3:33 pm

Why is she so dramatic when talking.

  14. @Mandapanda. on March 6, 2025 at 3:34 pm

Hear me out..I randomly bought a completely safe/sealed bottle of retinol serum from dollar tree for $1.25…it’s amazing and I’ve seen results with it! I thought I was crazy but I have been reading on it ever since and people LOVE it!! It’s not too strong so I can use it all over my face and under my eyes. My crows feet have truly gotten noticeably better within the first couple weeks! I love it! I have used lots of expensive, fancy products and I can’t believe how well this dollar tree find works! GET IT!!

  15. @rshdaanpu6942 on March 6, 2025 at 3:34 pm

Lost me when she suggested vaseline.

  16. @jrowlove7328 on March 6, 2025 at 3:34 pm

I can’t believe you would advise a petrochemical item like Vaseline on skin! I was horrified!

  17. @psteele4013 on March 6, 2025 at 3:35 pm

Does any of these eye cream cause Mila around the eyes?

  18. @charlierass2149 on March 6, 2025 at 3:37 pm

This is the best skin care informative site on YouTube. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. If you Develop your own product line…you will be so successful @

  19. @zzludzz on March 6, 2025 at 3:38 pm

Thank you for that. That first product you mentioned sounds exciting. I may try out once the product I use runs out.
    Question though, and have tried to get answers but I just don’t;
I use eye serum, don’t they penetrate deeper into skin than creams? Isn’t there a better benefit in serums? If I use a eye serum than don’t do eye cream? Is there a danger in using both? Wish a serum would have all ingredients that are beneficial but all use different ingredients. My eye concerns are lines under eyes (anti aging…etc)
So that product you mentioned, though eye cream sounds intriguing. Thanks you and all who can give input.

  20. @patriciapowell8223 on March 6, 2025 at 3:39 pm

Do you have a video that discusses eye bags? What they are, why they happen, and how to reduce them, if possible?

  21. @littlevoice_11 on March 6, 2025 at 3:41 pm

    Which can lift the eyelids?

  22. @MatthewMcCoy-cf2no on March 6, 2025 at 3:43 pm

When would you use the Peter Thomas Roth Power Eye Serum? Morning? Night? Where would it fall in routine?

  23. @salah-hx5kx on March 6, 2025 at 3:43 pm

    👌

  24. @daniellelavallee9204 on March 6, 2025 at 3:45 pm

Should we apply eye cream to eyelid, or just under eye??

  25. @frolleinm9485 on March 6, 2025 at 3:45 pm

Tula Overnight does nothing for me.
Plus: Packaging is awful, if product comes out, it is a different amount every time. Had this experience in the store with the tester but thought this was a one time problem. No, it is not.
Do not look forward to when it is empty, I expect to not be able to get everything out of the can.

  26. @chrismahfouz7709 on March 6, 2025 at 3:46 pm

Thank you Dr! I appreciate you! 💖

  27. @barbr4829 on March 6, 2025 at 3:48 pm

I’ve been using the Burts Bees both the eye and face cream. Love them both

  28. @achiyaku on March 6, 2025 at 3:51 pm

You are so amazingly informative thank you so much! I would love to know more about one of the last points you made, where you mention to pair the products correctly on our routine!

  29. @dizilerify on March 6, 2025 at 3:57 pm

God, your funny facial features makes you a laughing stock! Why do you look up to the skies in the fist 20 seconds like you are rolling your eyes in a very funny way? I wish a physiatrist evaluated you based on your face language!

  30. @jeremyhall525 on March 6, 2025 at 3:58 pm

For years YouTube dermatologists said don’t bother with eye creams. However, over the past 6 months they’re recommending them. I just buffer my regular retinol with moisturizer around my eyes. No irritation and no need to spend another $40 on another product.

  31. @strudel4527 on March 6, 2025 at 3:58 pm

Beauty of Joseon has a retinal eye cream that is affordable, but I haven’t try it yet.

  32. @marleneperry6972 on March 6, 2025 at 3:58 pm

    Allergy eye de-puffer?

  33. @kristinebarbaree2697 on March 6, 2025 at 4:01 pm

Avene is expensive and out of stock

  34. @Debbie-q4k on March 6, 2025 at 4:01 pm

We’ll first off love your videos bu I must say I’m recovering from using L’Oréal cleanser revitolift and the retinol cream my face after 3 days was burning I stopped of course then my face is peeling so using a very gentle cream I used the mildest as you suggested I’m just trying to make my self feel better I did order vitamin c cream from Amazon it hasn’t got here
    Have any suggestions please

  35. @mslascorpia on March 6, 2025 at 4:02 pm

Does she offer eye cream for eye bags

  36. @sballantine8127 on March 6, 2025 at 4:07 pm

Good video, however, I am not happy that you do not show the ingredients of each product the way you did with the Avene Eye Cream. And I’m so glad you did, because it contains hyaluronic acid, which current research has shown is NOT good for the skin because it ends up inhibiting your body from producing it’s own moisture. The general public has been brainwashed into believing that hyaluronic acid is the be-all-and-end-all skincare ingredient, which makes it very difficult now to buy anything without it.

The regular Avene .05% and 1% RetinAL, my personal Holy Grail retinoid because their retinaldehyde is lipophilic (oil based vs water based) and when mixed with a lipophilic THD form of Vitamin C, (Truth Treatments Transdedrmal C Serum which is definitely expensive), is so moisturizing that even someone with very dry skin 72-year old skin like mine does not even need a moisturizer in warm weather. In addition, after putting 2-3 pumps of the retinaldehyde and 2-3 drops on the C serum into the palm of my hand, I add 2-3 pumps of the Truth Treatments Biomemetic Mineral Mist to drive the mixture deeper into the skin.

When the heat dries out the air in winter, then yes, you do need to put an occlusive cream on top of it AFTER waiting 20 minutes so as not to dilute the active ingredients. Before applying that, spritz your face with water, you can use the Avene mineral water (or Vichy or other mist of your choice, even plain water) to lock in moisture.

After 4 months my lip lines have decreased VERY noticeably, the number one reason I finally decided to spend the money for these products. Yes, it ain’t cheap, but you can always get a discount when you sign up to be on Avene’s list, and Truth Treatments periodically has one-day-only specials like BOGO, buy one and get a free mineral mist, and buy one get the second 50% off, are three of he most recent ones I recall. Or you can go to the SkinTruth website and sign up and get everything she sells for 20%off at all times. She also has 25% and 30% off specials around the different holidays. Regrettably she does not carry Avene. However, right now (as of 11/7/23) Avene has a 30% off Black Friday Special and I just stocked up.

  37. @thanhtu1727 on March 6, 2025 at 4:08 pm

The favorite 3 you said, can I apply direct on my eye lids? My eyelids are dark and wrinkle too and I’m 56 years old.

  38. @kenschwartz2035 on March 6, 2025 at 4:08 pm

Can any of these eye creams be used on the eyelid? Looking for something to tighten my eyelids. Maybe you could do a video on that. Thanks!

  39. @Aprilpixie on March 6, 2025 at 4:08 pm

I’m loving the Lather Australian Plum Eye Crème. This will fall into the non-retinoid, vitamin C, moisturizing, eye cream category. The description on the website says that it also diminishes fine lines and wrinkles, but I’m not seeing how. The ingredients seem to be more on the brightening moisturizing side not anti-aging, but I notice immediate brightening improvement as soon as I used it. It’s also middle of the road expense wise at $35.

  40. @akhiker01 on March 6, 2025 at 4:09 pm

?? What about using my tretinoin or adapalene on top of dry moisturizer under eyes and under brows for anti-aging and milia ?

  41. @sharonalbanese8084 on March 6, 2025 at 4:09 pm

Thank you for this excellent video! So happy that most of your recommendations are available here in Australia ❤❤❤❤

  42. @marcellef8302 on March 6, 2025 at 4:12 pm

Hi Dr Locke, I’ve just found this video and, unfortunately, I am too late to get the deep discount but, I just ordered the TULA eye cream from Sephora, while they are having their semi-annual sale.
I am 61 an have suddenly noticed wrinkling skin under my eyes (lack of sleep is to blame, I know). I have never used retinol products and I had blepharitis in 2007, and I have a few milia near my eyelids. Therefore, I thought the TULA would be best to start out a good de-wrinkling treatment for me.
Thank you very much for your recommendations. Take care ☺

  43. @nathaliacarrera7848 on March 6, 2025 at 4:13 pm

The Avenue eye cream dries my eyes so much and I am peeling from it constantly. Am I doing something wrong? It seems my eyes look even more wrinkled from the dryness 😞

  44. @jamieminchew1605 on March 6, 2025 at 4:13 pm

What eye cream would you use for someone using Retin a under the eyes

  45. @backtoasimplelife on March 6, 2025 at 4:13 pm

The research now indicates using retinoids on eye skin can kead to dry eye, so I don’t think we should be usung them there. I’m researching bakuchiol, ginseng and vitamin c for eye skin. I already use a 15 percent c, e and ferulic serum on my face, neck, chest, back of neck, hands and arms.

  46. @ivonnehansson4938 on March 6, 2025 at 4:14 pm

    Thanks 🙏🏼 😊
Fantastic video with so many different eye creams to choose from 👍🏼 And super good explained. Just what I needed 😊
    Love from Sweden 🇸🇪 😊

  47. @AnonymousPerson0182 on March 6, 2025 at 4:16 pm

Skip ahead 2:52 minutes to get to the product recommendations and skip that unnecessary chatter. Her #1 “affordable” pick is $52. 😂 Can not stand the presentation in this video.

  48. @joniheisenberg on March 6, 2025 at 4:18 pm

I wish you and others would stop using the term “anti-aging.”

  49. @RaeRaesRaveReviews on March 6, 2025 at 4:21 pm

Are there any eye creams that actually will lift sagging eyebrows/upper eyelid?

  50. @mikekisonu6825 on March 6, 2025 at 4:22 pm

    Got the AVENE.

Bottle STOPPED working after a couple of months 😕
