Anyone would think aging is a disease 😮, news alert, aging is good, the alternative is worse 😢, live your best life and chill out ❤
I’ve been using StriVectin for the past 2 months +, not every day, and I see a real and significant difference in the depth of the lines just below the base of my neck and just above my jaw line (I am overweight and have creases there). (Unfortunately, I don’t see a difference in the crepey area in the middle of my neck.) I didn’t know what to expect, and am really happy to see that the cream works. As per the instructions, I apply it from the bottom of the lines below my neck, and move upward to my jaws, rubbing it in over my jaw line. Maybe daily use would make a difference to the crepey skin.
I’m only 43 and don’t have crepey skin yet but I want to keep it that way. It’s very good to know that the skin on the neck won’t see the same results as the skin on the face for in office procedures. Fortunately my neck can withstand retinal so I use that on my neck. Then a moisturizer. Is it true that I should wait 10 minutes after applying retinoids before applying moisturizers or can I put a moisturizer on right after applying retinoids?
Omg I just said that today
I saw my mom neck when I looked in the mirror 😭
Amen Thank you I totally needed this!
Can I put neck cream on my eye area?
The first few sentences in your video hit the nail on its head, so to speak. All my life, I focus on my face and my body. Then, just out of the blue, I’ve noticed my neck. It’s awful. I’m in panic mode now. I have Turkey neck along with the crepey skin. It’s a battle to minimise it, but I’m fighting a losing battle. I look forward to such videos like yours 😊
Thank you. <3
Can we use the StriVectin neck cream while pregnant?
Doctor I have a really hard skin problem and I’ve seen lots of doctors and they couldn’t help I wasted my money on medicine and nothing worked they don’t even know what Is it please help me I just want to know what do I have 💔 please tell me how I can contact you
My neck has the ugly lines across it only Botox would help tbh
My neck has looked older than my age, probably since adolescence. Always had my face stuck in a book, looking downward. Hate my necklace lines.
Thank you so much for the information. I found this video to be very informative.
Dr Sam: Would be very helpful if you would invest in a proper microphone for audio. As it is now, there is reverb in your audio which makes it extremely difficult for viewers to listen to. I am often unable to listen to an entire video of yours because of this.
it did not work for me
I am 32 and want to make sure to take care of of neck, I use antioxidant, EGF but Tretinoin is a little strong for my neck. Is the cream you mentioned actually worth it? It is expensive and don’t want to waste money. I know some things are gimmicks
Do you use tretinoin on your neck though and how often
I tried that neck cream, didn’t do anything, now using SkinMedica neck cream, much better product, a lot more expensive too!
Thank you very much 😊
Neck car is also very important. I am using Thriveco anti aging face and neck cream. I started using it to get rid of my neck wrinkles and I am happy with the results. It has improved skin elasticity and keeps it hydrated and firm.
Can Ascorbic Acid be applied on the neck or facial skin to someone who has G6PD-d, when taking it internally is contraindicated?
Plz slow down talking 😅
Any suggestions for a great neck cream without niacinamide?
I love the Clarins Super Restorative Decollete and Neck Concentrate. Its so soothing and spells amazing.
I tried strivectin. Such a waste of money.
What about acne prone weak chin 😅
Thank you from Kazakhstan 🌸
And don’t forget to treat your hands, too!
I am using Avene Retinal 1 cream for my neck. Tretinoin on my face. I did only use the Avene every second night to get use to it. I use Vanicream C serum on my neck in the morning
$110 for an article of ingredients of which the first is water (50% of the product) and the rest is alcohols and oils. Idk if i would spend money on that
Great explanation of procedures! Thank you
My problem is i take a long walk ( 2hours) in texas and most sunscreen really irritate my neck. I stil use them ( avene, neutrogena anything i can get my hands on). Then removing them after walk is also super irritating on my neck skin. My neck has deep lines and those lines these days are discolored ( dark purplish?) ever since i moved to texas….. I am pale skined asian ( korean). Any soothing effective sunscreen recommendation for neck please
So true Dr. Ellis. I never thought of my neck and now as a man in my late 50’s, I’m getting the crepe skin and turkey neck. Uggh…so mad at myself for not using sunscreen there when younger in my teens in the sub.
My neck and décolleté are in good shape for 70 years around the sun. Others have commented too (even doctors) so it’s not just me. I avoided the sun because I hated being hot, even as a child. I used to beg my mother and grandmother to move into the shade to chat so I could join them because I just couldn’t stand sitting in the sun. Trust me that was an allure that was powerful to me at 12! But I just couldn’t stand the glare in my eyes, the prickly hot sensation on my skin. I just hated the sun. Still do. My husband calls me his vampire. Now I do several things to preserve what’s left in elastin and collagen. Red light therapy, bringing my rather robust care routine down into my neck and chest. Retinol eye cream by Beauty of Joseon rubbed around my neck and chest, and when sitting at the cpu, I swipe a moisture stick across my neck so no skin is touching which I believe contributes to "tech neck". Skin on skin touching where it has no business doing is big trouble for the skin in my opinion.
I’m only 18 and I’ve had the neck lines as long as I can remember. It’s probably the genetics in my family bc my mom, sister and myself has it.
$95 for a neck cream? Go get an Olay face cream and use it on your neck.
Hi Dr. Ellis. Thanks for your informative videos! Is it safe for the thyroid to be using the products you mentioned on the neck? I’m assuming these products could get absorbed into the thyroid gland.
Thanks very much ,Dr Sam Ellis ❤ xx
We should stop saying it’s part of aging, looking good doesn’t mean you stop aging is just to look great and minimize stress by being happy with yourself
what are your thoughts on retinadehyde?
Strivectin has just changed their neck cream. They took out the Gravitite-CF Lifting Complex and replaced it with Alpha-3 Peptide. The NIA-114 is still listed on the packaging. Could you possible look into or try the new cream? I’ve been using the original for 2 decades (no kidding) and am afraid to try the new formula. I would like a Dr.’s opinion. Thank you and love your video’s.
Do you have any recommendations for North Alabama providers or in Southeast?
Your skin looks as if you’ve had work done. If so, do you have any videos on what procedures worked for you??
I had neck surgery and it left my neck with a sagging scar across the front of my neck. I will like to tighten it up if possible.
Will insurance cover any of the costs of in office procedures?
I started using this several months ago and I am amazed at the positive difference
Thanks for all the practical recommendations. Have gotten and loved many products you recommended here. If you haven’t done this already, could you do a video on dark/sun spots on the back of your hands? Thanks ahead
Do these creams for neck moisturize all day? If not, how can you actually keep your neck moisturized all day?
all these comments and she hasn’t even replied to a single one 🥴🥴🥴
I you photographed my neck for poikiloderma it would be what was in this video. It is still red after 2 vascular laser treatments (painful) and I do still have the "chicken skin" even after 2 fraxel treatments. I use tretinoin 0.5 and alternate with 20% glycolic peels 1-2 times a week. Looks better but not great.
